 3.1.Initial Concept (Draft):

I am currently most interested in the themes “Renewal of Life” and “Genesis”, and I would like to explore a design that reflects elements from both. To begin, I’ve started researching inspiration by browsing a variety of websites, focusing on videos and images that relate to these concepts. This visual exploration is helping me gather ideas on tone, color palette, and composition direction for my poster design.

I’m currently exploring several visual ideas that reflect the themes of Renewal of Life and Genesis. Some of the concepts I’m interested in include:
  • Greenery growing out of ruins, symbolizing rebirth and hope.

  • Plants emerging from desert landscapes, highlighting resilience and the return of life in harsh environments.

  • A face-to-face encounter or spiritual connection between humans and elements of the natural world, showing harmony and mutual understanding.

  • A figure floating in space without a spacesuit, suggesting transcendence, vulnerability, or evolution beyond technology.

  • Futuristic forms such as liquid metal structures or organic tech-inspired modeling to express innovation and new beginnings.

I plan to develop a series of initial sketches to explore these ideas visually and see how they might be integrated into a cohesive poster design.

Based on these inspirations, I came up with some different ways of expression.

2.Reflection

For this project, I created three separate poster designs under the theme “Genesis: The Future,” each focusing on a different concept: future, life, and pandas. Each design explored a unique perspective—technological innovation, natural renewal, and the symbolic role of animals. This allowed me to experiment with various visual styles while deepening my understanding of the theme from multiple angles.
